The company’s two production lines, carbon plates mill and coil mill, both use the same raw material: steel slabs. Carbon plates and coils can be used in a wide range of applications: steel for structural purpose, for shipbuilding, for boiler and pressure vessel, for pipeline and guardrails, etc. The hot rolled carbon plates and coils are produced in accordance with the Euronorm EN 10025.
The rolling line was designed for a production capacity of up to 420,000 tons of carbon plates per year. The production line is semi-automatic as some operations are carried out by an operator in the control cabin. Carbon plates applications are: steel for structural use (steel for the building industry); steel for mechanical constructions including those with greater resistance to atmospheric agents; steel for boilers and pressure vessel; steel for ship building; steel for annealing and for case-hardening. |
